Politics has been holding America hostage with political correctness .  My God you can't even say what you think because you might offend someone ?

I think Americans are finally starting to wake up .  Trump is not my first choice for president but I certainly like what he is doing .

What you are witnessing is an American revolt.  The W.A.S.P's  are rising up to give the Manbey pamby wishy-washy Perrier drinking socialist liberals  A swift kick in the nads.

America go to your windows open them up and shout "  i'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore "!

(  Firmly  places tongue in  cheek )

Yup, not my first choice by far, but just maybe  Trump can pull it off, get us out of this insane lib-controlled fall into Idiocy, suicide-by-America-Self-Hatred! Both sets of fingers & toes crossed!

Trump is a blowhard which takes a lot of the wind from the sails where I am concerned. Sadly it may be the only way to get the mad as hell message across.

I've believed since Perot that what the US needed was a businessman at the helm rather than another lawyer. We have a couple homegrown boys here where I live that came up grass roots and are now reps at the state level. I would vote either of them for a national position and one in particular I think would be a far better president than anything we have currently available to us. Neither come from a law background.

The problem with electing lawyers is they are very adept at lying to your face and it somehow still being the truth.

Do you think Trump  Will ask  General James "mad dog" Mattis  to be his vice president ?

“I come in peace. I didn’t bring artillery. But I’m pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you fuck with me, I’ll kill you all.”

That would be a Republican neocon dream team .

I do not think, Trump is a lot of folks first choice.. How ever he is bringing to the forefront issues, (immigration) that people care about... Cruz would be my first choice, as he is a hardcore conservative, and I have not seen or heard him move away from any of his principles. The problem he has is he is being labeled a status quo politician, even though he has only been in D.C since 2010.. People are tired of the politicians in D.C as they are always lying to their constituents just so they can get elected for another term in office.. Trump is not only a none politicians, but he says what he wants, and doesn't give a rats ass, what other think about..

The US is an unusual country where we continue to vote for lawyers to screw us over year in and year out. In many foreign countries it is not uncommon at all for a celebrated general to become leader (and not just via coup). When was our last top general elected president? Eisenhower maybe?

I always enjoy the random story I come across concerning Mattis. He seems like the real thing.

I vaguely remember calls for Schwarkopf to run maybe in the early 90's (that was a lot of beers ago)

I do believe Eisenhower was the last one .

In 2008 I remember seeing calls for Colin Powell and Ollie North.

If the GOP doesn't choose him as their candidate...it will be the end of them.

Done....they will never have any power whatsoever again.

I believe Trump can win as an independent

I also believe Diebold or whoever can make sure something else happens.

Deez Nuts :chuckle:
