Government-Funded Study Says “Conspiracy Theorists” Are Dangerous And Could Join ISIS

A government-backed study recently published in the UK has equated “conspiracy theorists” with violent terrorists, saying that belief in alternative viewpoints could be a warning sign of terrorist activity. The author of the study, Quassim Cassam, a professor of philosophy at the University of Warwick, also said that people who believe in alternative viewpoints have a potential of joining ISIS.

I am not nor ever will be a terrorist unless the act of defending one's self from a tyrannical government is considered a act of terrorism  Armed_Infidelb.jpg.5750dfd106b4354c7420c

Wow, they're really reaching over there.

Nursery staff to be forced to report toddlers at risk of becoming terrorists

It is part of the department’s consultation over ways to enhance its anti-terrorism strategy, Prevent.

Critics have dismissed the proposals as being unnecessarily draconian and turning staff, who are meant to be caring for youngsters, into spies.

The consultation document on the Prevent Strategy states: “Senior management and governors are expected to assess the risk of pupils being drawn into terrorism, including support for the extremist ideas that are part of terrorist ideology.”

It continues, staff are expected to “identify children at risk of being drawn into terrorism” and “challenge extremist ideas which can be used to legitimise terrorism”.

I would think that this might be a violation of the First Amendment because we do have the right to petition for redress of grievances, and I don't think we need to join ISIS to do that (even though there has been some commentary thinking that the government is funding them).  I'd be wondering what the problem here is?  All we need is for someone to expose what the government is always trying to get away with, and the angry mob can make the government change their mind.  "We're mad as hell and we aren't going to take it anymore" is usually sufficient.

I guess that's literally why they can call it the throne.  Excuse me, but does this ass make my crown look big?  Or in the case of the Obama bumper sticker: Does this ass make my car look big?
