George H.W. Bush, the former president of the United States, was taken to the hospital on Wednesday after falling in his Kennebunkport, Maine, home. Bush, 91, broke a bone in his neck.

Bush spokesman Jim McGrath, Bus told CNN that the injury is "not life threatening," adding, "We are not expecting a long stay." Bush's condition was described as stable and he is being treated at a Portland, Maine, hospital.

Bush served as the 41st president from 1989 to 1993. His son, George W. Bush, served as the 43rd president. Another of his sons, Jeb Bush, last month declared that he was running for president in 2016.

LOL, too bad he didn't break his neck.  Whenever a former president dies the military gets a four day weekend to "mourn."  It would be about the only good thing that any Bush would ever do for the troops.
