Series of ‘bizarre suicides’ & murders: Former Ukrainian MP shot dead in Kiev

A former Ukrainian MP and active anti-Maidan activist, Oleg Kalashnikov, has been killed in his flat in Kiev. His killing is the latest in a series of odd deaths plaguing former government officials and ex-President Yanukovich’s party members.

The 52-year-old was found dead at his residence in Kiev on Wednesday evening. His death was “caused by a gunshot,” the Interior Ministry said in a statement announcing a police inquiry. Ukraine’s criminal investigation chief Vasily Paskal, took the investigation under personal control and promised to share motives and the preliminary results of the probe with reporters as soon as they become available.

He has been recently working as a freelance journalist.

The journalist and ex-MP who were gunned down in Kiev this week were on an ‘enemies of the state’ database – a social media website supported by the aide to Ukraine’s interior minister. The bloggers also have a Twitter account to share ‘successes.’

The volunteer-made website calling itself ‘Mirotvorec’ (Peacekeeper), posts very thorough and comprehensive information on anyone who happens to make the list – journalists, activists, MPs opposing the current Kiev authorities’ policies and rebels fighting against the government in the east. The posts include their addresses, social media account links, a substantial biography and any mentions in the Ukrainian press. There is also labeling involved e.g. “terrorist; supporter of federalization” and other tags.

The website indicates that politician Oleg Kalashnikov’s and journalist Oles Buzina’s details were published on the site no more than 48 hours before both were found dead.

Italy’s second largest newspaper La Repubblica has broken western media’s silence over the latest wave of political murders in Ukraine.

In an unusual for mainstream western media frank assessment of Kiev’s post-Maidan regime, La Repubblica has denounced “a ruthless sweeping away of every form of political opposition taking place in Kiev”. The paper was reacting to yet another assassination in Ukraine — this time of a popular journalist Oles Buzina.

What's Behind the "Peacekeeper" Killings in Ukraine?

Killings of Anti-Maidan activists of late have been in the international news, but a suspicious "Peacekeeper" website has watchers searching NATO and other connections. Here's a report on the latest Western policy "rabbit hole".

What’s Behind the “Peacekeeper” Killings in Ukraine? Killings of Anti-Maidan activists of late have been in the international news, but a suspicious “Peacekeeper” website has watchers searching NATO and other connections. Here’s a report on the latest Western policy “rabbit hole”. News today tells of an Ukrainian nationalist group claiming responsibility for the murders of two public figures in Kiev earlier this week. However gripping and telling Journalist Oles Buzyna being killed by masked gunmen outside his home on Thursday, though, greater implications exist. We have news of something called the “Ukranian Insurgent Army” accepting responsibility, but several deaths in Ukraine these past days appear linked to fictitious trolls, Maidan officials, OSCE strategies, and worse still, foreign embassies and NATO. Update One: The twitter of “Peacemaker” shows a somewhat telling Twitter habit of first following the people most significant to the account intent. In the initial stages of account use, Petro Poroshenko made good sense; however, following the CIA and the United States Department of Defense, along with the FBI, is a curious new Twitter user connect. See the image below. Update Two: The team at “Peacemaker” has apparently rebooted the website with either rerouted server connections. More exactly, the shutdown of the site was utilized to simply “rename” the NATO server final destination. The owners of the site have made an attempt to “explain” the interruption, which ignores the fact NATO.int was captured by many. I’ve inserted the latest CMD trace beneath the NATO capture below. As you can see the routes are identical save the remanimg of the destination. Just what is true or false in this spree of revelations these past 24 hours, it’s certain that what’s beneath the Euronews and RT stories today is far more disturbing. Here’s a tad bit cynical, ultimately questioning, and possibly gripping, revelation of things you probably do not yet know about these assassinations.

Ukrainian billionaire dies in Sharm el-Shiekh

A Ukrainian billionaire was found dead in hotel at Sharm el-Sheikh, and so far foul play has not been suggested; the victim is the brother of former Ukrainian Finance Minster Anton Klimnko, Youm 7 reported Wednesday.

The initial information gathered by security officials says that the incident started when the victim flew to Sharm el-Sheikh upon a request from his girlfriend which was spending her vacation out there. He reportedly traveled by his private jet with his body guard and arrived three days ago and stayed in a suite at an unnamed high-level hotel.

The investigations noted that the victim often witnessed drunk, and his body guards found him dead in front of the hotel swimming pool. Initial investigations have hinted that he may have fallen from his balcony while drunk.
