I don't remember these movies, but I'm not good with titles.

Another Earth?

Sound of My Voice?

and many of DK's.  I'll look for them. Maybe I can get my son to find them for me. He's a movie fan too. His girlfriend worked on the Ender's Game movie.

Soylent Green, Planet of the Apes are superb and trailblazing. Can't go wrong with Charlton Heston -- or Arnold!

Predator has special effects that stand up to  modern cgi.

Avatar and Prometheus, I can watch them over and over.

I saw Jurassic Park by myself. I picked an afternoon  matinee when people were at work and school. The theater was almost empty. I picked a seat in the center. It was magic. I was like a kid the whole time, grinning, eating nachos, having one of the funnest times in my life. Oh, when the T-Rex made that ripple in the puddle!!!

All my female friends and family like romantic junk. They go see Bridges of Madison County and chick flicks. Borrrring. I watched Real Metal again today. X-Men was on last night and my husband watched it with me, the one where Wolverine goes back in time.

Thanks @DarkKnightNomeD,
A few of those I haven't seen yet.
I didn't care for The Fountain all that much but I loved Melancholia and Children of Men is fantastic.
Donny Darko is classic but the sequel S. Darko sucked so bad.

Alien, Blade Runner and Dune have to be on the list.
5th element is fun and I liked District 9 too.

Oooh I almost forgot The Thing, the sequel (or prequel) to that was actually good.

Edit to add Event Horizon (seriously creepy).

How could I forget Dune? My Mentat training is slipping.

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of Sapho that thoughts acquire speed, the lips acquire stains, the stains become a warning. It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.
