Education in the USA

5 posts in this topic

Somebody asked me why the inner cities along I95 are lagging in Education.

So I said...

Because The politicians know full well that their city is a pile of shit and that their people are absolutely nothing but 5 ft stacks of it.

They might sit there and talk all kinds of grand about how great their city is... because they want to get elected..

The truth is the money trail that doesn't lead to their mouth.

Why do you think they don't bother wasting it on Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and Dorling Kindersley books, dell and HP computers, Toshiba televisions, Discovery and Smithsonian educational media software and implements, Chalk Boards and marker boards, and notebooks ?

Because it would be a waste of money if they did, because its useless to them.

So they just say yeah its great city (whatever)... on election day, and the next day, go buy themselves a new fur coat and a Mercedes Benz.

The NWO does not need well-educated slaves. It is easier to control people who are dumb, docile, and drugged. Our school systems, entertainment industry, and medical "professionals" make it all happen. The agenda was mapped out many years ago and is now fully implemented.

As a former school teacher that witnessed the "dumbing down" of America first hand, I can testify to the constant marginalization and then expulsion of idealistic teachers who mistakenly believe that their job is to provide their students with all of the knowledge and critical thinking skills needed to become productive citizens of a democratic republic.  Today, a Doctorate degree from a major university is the equivalent of a Master's degree from that same university 50 years ago.  Most European students graduating from their equivalent of High School are as well educated as most Americans taking upper division classes in college!  (please see http://www.theatlantic.com/education/archive/2013/12/american-schools-vs-the-world-expensive-unequal-bad-at-math/281983/http://www.nytimes.com/2013/12/18/opinion/why-students-do-better-overseas.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0, and http://rossieronline.usc.edu/u-s-education-versus-the-world-infographic/.)  Note that the sources I gave are from the "establishment" itself - the situation is far worse than they admit!  There is currently a movement in Germany to eliminate the traditional German educational system in favor of the American one - they claim the traditional methods are too "elitist"!  The NWO is neither as powerful as they would have us believe nor as far along on their timetable as they would like to be.  Educate your children at home if possible (in many places of the world it's now illegal).  Even if it's not possible to educate your children at home, you can still make alternative educational materials available to them.

The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America
By Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt

Charlotte Iserbyt is to be greatly commended for having put together the most formidable and practical compilation of documentation describing the “deliberate dumbing down” of American children by their education system. Anyone interested in the truth will be shocked by the way American social engineers have systematically gone about destroying the intellect of millions of American children for the purpose of leading the American people into a socialist world government controlled by behavioral and social scientists. Mrs. Iserbyt has also documented the gradual transformation of our once academically successful education system into one devoted to training children to become compliant human resources to be used by government and industry for their own purposes. This is how fascist-socialist societies train their children to become servants of their government masters. The successful implementation of this new philosophy of education will spell the end of the American dream of individual freedom and opportunity. The government will plan your life for you, and unless you comply with government restrictions and regulations your ability to pursue a career of your own choice will be severely limited. What is so mind boggling is that all of this is being financed by the American people themselves through their own taxes. In other words, the American people are underwriting the destruction of their own freedom and way of life by lavishly financing through federal grants the very social scientists who are undermining our national sovereignty and preparing our children to become the dumbed-down vassals of the new world order. It reminds one of how the Nazis charged their victims train fare to their own doom. One of the interesting insights revealed by these documents is how the social engineers use a deliberately created education “crisis” to move their agenda forward by offering radical reforms that are sold to the public as fixing the crisis—which they never do. The new reforms simply set the stage for the next crisis, which provides the pretext for the next move forward. This is the dialectical process at work, a process our behavioral engineers have learned to use very effectively. Its success depends on the ability of the “change agents” to continually deceive the public which tends to believe anything the experts tell them. And so, our children continue to be at risk in America’s schools. They are at risk academically because of such programs as whole language, mastery learning, direct instruction, Skinnerian operant conditioning, all of which have created huge learning problems that inevitably lead to what is commonly known as Attention Deficit Disorder and the drugging of four million children with the powerful drug Ritalin. Mrs. Iserbyt has dealt extensively with the root causes of immorality in our society and the role of the public schools in the teaching of moral relativism (no right/no wrong ethics). She raises a red flag regarding the current efforts of left-wing liberals and right-wing conservatives (radical center) to come up with a new kid on the block—“common ground” character education—which will, under the microscope, turn out to be the same warmed-over values education alert parent groups have resisted for over fifty years. This is a perfect example of the Hegelian Dialectic at work.

 A WHISTLEBLOWER'S ACCOUNT

Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt, former Senior Policy Advisor in the U.S. Department of Education, blew the whistle in the `80s on government activities withheld from the public. Her inside knowledge will help you protect your children from controversial methods and programs. In this book you will discover:

  •
-how good teachers across America have been forced to use controversial, non-academic me
  •
-how "school choice" is being used to further dangerous reform goals, and how home schooling and private education are especially vulnerable.
  •
-how workforce training (school-to-work) is an essential part of an overall plan for a global economy, and how this plan will shortcircuit your child's future career plans and opportunities.
  •
-how the international, national, regional, state and local agendas for education reform are all interconnected and have been for decades.

A CHRONOLOGICAL PAPER TRAIL

the deliberate dumbing down of america is a chronological history of the past 100+ years of education reform. Each chapter takes a period of history and recounts the significant events, including important geopolitical and societal contextual information. Citations from government plans, policy documents, and key writings by leading reformers record the rise of the modern education reform movement. Americans of all ages will welcome this riveting expose of what really happened to what was once the finest education system in the world.

A snippet from an interesting article about coercion

http://www.madinamerica.com/2013/08/societies-little-coercion-little-mental-illness/

Modernity is replete with institutional coercions not present in most indigenous cultures. This is especially true with respect to schooling and employment, which for most Americans, according to recent polls, are alienating, disengaging, and unfun. As I reported earlier this year (“Why Life in America Can Literally Drive You Insane, a Gallup poll, released in January 2013, reported that the longer students stay in school, the less engaged they become, and by high school, only 40% reported being engaged. Critics of schooling—from Henry David Thoreau, to Paul Goodman, to John Holt, to John Taylor Gatto—have understood that coercive and unengaging schooling is necessary to ensure that young people more readily accept coercive and unengaging employment. And as I also reported in that same article, a June 2013 Gallup poll revealed that 70% of Americans hate their jobs or have checked out of them.

Unengaging employment and schooling require all kinds of coercions for participation, and human beings pay a psychological price for this. In nearly three decades of clinical practice, I have found that coercion is often the source of suffering.

Here’s one situation that I’ve seen hundreds of times. An intelligent young child or teenager has been underachieving in standard school, and has begun to have emotional and/or behavioral problems. Such a child often feels coerced by standard schooling to pay attention to that which is boring for them, to do homework for which they see no value, and to stay inside a building that feels sterile and suffocating. Depending on the child’s temperament, this coercion results in different outcomes — none of them good.

Some of these kids get depressed and anxious. They worry that their lack of attention and interest will result in dire life consequences. They believe authorities’ admonitions that if they do poorly in school, they will be “flipping burgers for the rest of their lives.” It is increasingly routine for doctors to medicate these anxious and depressed kids with antidepressants and other psychiatric drugs.
