Usury

3 posts in this topic

It's older than that. According to this guy it dates back to Sumeria known as the Sumerian Swindle. It's rather a long story and the author repeats himself a lot but you can skim through and get the gist of it. It starts with a cooperative society where people help each other out through hard times by loaning grain and paying it back later same for same. Then some people get into a bind and can't repay their grain loan and then someone comes up with the bright idea to ask for 1.5 times the grain in return for 1 unit. Then the Sumerians arrive and take usury to a whole new level of confiscating farms when the borrower defaults. And the rest is history! Money for nothing and the chicks for free. Oh, the Sumerians arrived with pockets of silver, improved the accounting system as to not waste space with grain when they could store and hide silver much easier.

Yes I get the gist of it after scanning, but I have to admit as with any information, you have to, ' take it with a grain of salt'.In my opinion this writing tears away any kind of hope in humanity, and also any belief in a just God, as why would he let this continue for so long? and it don't seem like anything has changed, or will ever change anytime soon. After coming to these realizations one must decide a path of action, in order to change humanity fate, as a result, there is only one logical conclusion, and one major question.....Are we ready to change our existence ?
