IDing this rifle for everyone.

That's a Saiga IZ240 hunting rifle. Not a a sniper.

Rifle: http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/component/virtuemart/shipping-rifles/saiga-iz-240-ak-74-rifle-detail.html?Itemid=0 THE ROLL MARK ON THE SIDE IS A DEAD GIVE AWAY.

The Mag is: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/1116145922/tapco-intrafuse-magazine-ak-74-545x39mm-russian-polymer

The stock is Magpul: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/2319275612/magpul-zhukov-s-folding-stock-ak-47-ak-74-polymer

The pistol grip is also US Palm: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/3002124726/us-palm-enhanced-pistol-grip-ak-47-polymer

That explains all the sparking from the rounds in that one video, the bullets are bi-metal jacketed-mostly steel with a lead core, or 7n6 with the same jacket and a steel core. To reiterate, it's considered a hunting rifle or sporting rifle meant for hunting.

Edit:I tried to make this non-political and just give out facts but because of misinformation espoused by my replies I feel the need to explain some things. I will try to keep it as factual and non-biased as I can.

The distinction of "hunting" rifle is an important one because in the gun control debate the people that want gun control are keen on banning the rifle based on its cosmetic features such as Pistol grips, Collapsible stocks, Flash Suppressors and Barrel shrouds. These features do not do anything to affect the function of the rifle and are purely arbitrary.(As pointed out correctly by /u/Imeatbag even if he disagrees and thinks mag limits will be effective) Having one or more of the forbidden features is enough to get the rifle classified as an "assault weapon". Legislation that would restrict the forbidden features, and classified these rifles as "assault weapons" have been debated in congress as recent as this year. They also want magazine restriction in addition and that's a separate issue entirely.

For funs do the flowchart as if you have this: http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/california-legal/california-legal-ak47-ak74-mag-lock-detail.html

You need to use both charts to complete. I won't spoil it for you.

These cosmetic differences are the difference between an military style 'assault' weapon and a 'hunting' rifle.
