I'd like to see the info that is classified! KGB supposedly know a lot, they're defunct but the new replacement would have it.

This is the most informative and complete article about Operation High jump that I have found.  It is eye opening and very well put together:

(Cut)

While there is, still, no conclusive evidence of a German/Alien base on Antarctica, It is beyond doubt that something highly unusual was happening on, or around, the frozen continent. In general, it appears that the probability for such a base to have existed... and perhaps continue to exist, to this day, are rather high...

The evidence, a large volume of it, is there for all to see...

The Germans explored and claimed part of Antarctica on the very eve of the war when the vast majority of their activity was geared towards the rebuilding of the German economy and military infrastructure. This activity began shortly before the recovery of the Bavarian “flying disc”, in 1938, but picked up pace immediately afterward.

There was ongoing ship and submarine activity in the South Atlantic and polar regions throughout and after the war had apparently ended. This activity continued well into the 1950s, and if some accounts are to be believed, continues to this day, with what can only be considered U-Boat sightings, and a very high incidence of Unidentified Flying Object sightings in the South Atlantic and South Polar regions, including the Southern portions of South America.

The US literally invaded the continent of Antarctica, itself, with considerable naval resources leaving mainland America exposed and vulnerable as the world edged into the Cold War. The task force limped home as if defeated only weeks later, and the local South American press wrote of such a defeat. This coincided with a substantial increase in Unidentified Flying Object activity... generally attributed to the first major “wave” of such activity in modern times, with an inordinate amount of this activity taking place in the Southern Hemisphere, particularly in South America.

Admiral Byrd spoke of objects that could fly from pole to pole at incredible speeds being based on Antarctica.

Hundreds of thousands of Germans and a minimum of forty (40) U-boats were missing at the end of the war. Documentation and eyewitness accounts prove that at least a portion of these craft made it as far as South America, in some cases, several months after the end of the war in Europe.

Antarctic UFO mystery deepens after researchers 'find tanks guarding alien crash site'

http://www.express.co.uk/news/science/618769/Antarctic-UFO-mystery-deepens-after-researchers-find-tanks-guarding-alien-crash-site

Express.co.uk revealed earlier this year the claims of another UFO hunter that he had 'found the crash site and wreckage of an alien craft" that he believes may have been downed in the Antarctic.

Valentin Degterev from the city of Nizhny Tagil in central Russia, says he found the UGO (unidentified ground object) online using Google Earth.

But now fellow researchers have dug out satellite images of the same site, just off Willy Field Road, which were taken in April and December 2011.

The channel says it found the pictures which they believe show four tanks in a line facing the strange crack in the snow on Google Earth – as if a UFO has skidded to a halt after an emergency landing.

The whole NeuSchwabenland, nazi, OP Highjump story has always been one of my favorite storied to read about!! Thx for posting!!! So many different angles to this, the death of Forestall is a crazy story in itself, let alone the things Byrd had to say, and the way he died. But alas as fascinating as it is we will likely never get the truth, then again without conspiracy theories we wouldn't be having this conversation!!

Speaking of KGB files, I would like to see their investigation into the Dyatlov Pass incident.

You know what happened to Rear Admiral James Forrestal, who commanded High Jump forces? Confined to Bethseda Hispital, drugged, subjected to shock therapy, jumped out of a window to his death. Suicided.

Yes Forrestal's death has always been highly suspicious. Plus Byrds death, Patton death, all highly suspicious deaths of high ranking military personnel. Hmm, someone's keeping secrets secret.
